Project: Antony and Roderick House
Developer: Lambeth & Southwark Housing Association (LSHA)
Main Contractor: Adstone Construction
Utilities Value: £100,000
The Antony and Roderick House project involved the enhancement of two existing 1950s residential blocks, resulting in the creation of 30 additional affordable homes. Each home benefits from its own private amenity space, either a garden or a balcony. Careful planning ensured that the new structures had minimal impact on the external environment of the existing buildings and their residents. The project maintained harmony with the surrounding neighborhood by limiting the new buildings to five storeys, which is lower than many nearby urban blocks.
